[JKT48 The Movie] Trilogy Announced
After finishing their five cities tour, JKT48 is ready to give another surprise by producing a film in contract with Maxima Pictures. On 6th July, Maxima Pictures and Dentsu Indonesia had officially signed the contract of the film with the temporary title [JKT48 The Movie].
"We (Dentsu Indonesia) already had our plan. From the beginning of developing JKT48, we planned to make a movie on their third year. But, after 10 months of operating, the proposal had already came in. That's amazing for us." said Rudi Mulyadi, the Head of Dentsu Indonesia, when asked in JKT48 theatre.
Since last year, Ody Mulya Hidayat and Awi Suryadi, producer and the film maker, with Kasandra, scenario writer, and Gopta
Chandra, JKT48's management, had already started to prepare the ideas and the concept of [JKT48 The Movie].
Because every member is unique even in their show on stage, making only 1 film for JKT48 is not enough. Ody had the idea to make a trilogy of [JKT48 The Movie]. "According to our plan, [JKT48 The Movie] will be made as a trilogy." Ody said as the Producer of Maxima Pictures, when asked about the movie telling about JKT48's journey in fX Lifestyle Center, Senayan, Jakarta, Sunday, 7 July 2013.
Ody will make 3 different stories in 3 different movie because their potential and their appeal are amazing. "Their potential is amazing." Ody said proudly. Whatever the personnel said, JKT48's story will be opened up. JKT48's journey will be visualised in [JKT48 The Movie]. "We will explore everything about JKT48 to make the fans happy." said Ody.
According
to the plan, this film will also be sold in neighbouring countries
such as Singapore, Malaysia, Hongkong, Taiwan & China.

NMB48 East Japan Tour [12/31] Setlist [Updated]
NMB48 has started its tour through Eastern Japan with a show in Kanagawa Prefecture on June 11. The first show was performed by 20 members selected from all of NMB48's three teams. You can find the setlist below.
A total of eight concerts have been announced for this tour and it will end with a concert in Tokyo on July 3. The tour has the same name as the Western Japan Tour which NMB48 performed in spring this year. It's called [12/31], which is also the name of one of NMB48's album songs and the date the next NHK Kouhaku will be held. An appearance at this event seems to be the group's goal for this year. The tour subtitle indicates how many days are left until that date (so for example the subtitle for the first show was ~203 days left~).
While the first seven shows had basically the same setlist, the setlist was changed for the last tour concert in Tokyo. At this concert all members of NMB48 performed and Yokoyama Yui who was a concurrent NMB48 member until recently also appeared.

Introduction to AKB48's 15th Generation
This is a new feature that we have decided to implement onto MELOS no Michi: an introduction to the new generation of AKB48 members. We went through the trouble of finding out more about these members to make it easier for you to oshihen to them.
Revealed on AKB48's official blog on 20th May 2013, the 8 members of AKB48's 15th Generation have already had their baptism by fire at the AKB48 Group Kenkyuusei Concert at Budokan on 5th June 2013. 4 days later, they performed their debut stage on the Kenkyuusei [Pajama Drive] stage and subsequently experienced their debut handshake event last Sunday at the So Long! National Handshake Event at Hokkaido.
Still relatively unknown in the mainstream media yet equipped raw passion and enthusiasm, do they have what it takes to usher AKB48 onto the next stage?
Name: Ichikawa Manami 市川愛美
Nickname: Manami まなみ
Date of Birth: 1999/8/26 (13)
Hometown: Tokyo
Blood Type: A
Favourite AKB48 Member: -
Current Unit Song: Junjou Shugi
Replacing Hillary in Junjou Shugi, she displays an above average standard of showmanship. With an appropriate amount of effort, she will be a fine performer in no time.
Name: Nana Owada 大和田南那
Nickname: Naanya なーにゃ
Date of Birth: 1999/9/15 (13)
Hometown: Chiba
Blood Type: A
Favourite AKB48 Member: Oshima Yuko
Current Unit Song: Temodemo no Namida
The most talked about and noted 15th Generation Member. Though she still exhibits nervousness while doing introductions and emcees, she has performed considerably well in her unit song. Naanya enjoys eating strawberries and melons. Her favorite song is Heavy Rotation, which happens to be the first AKB48 song she ever heard.
Name: Komiyama Haruka 込山榛香
Nickname: Komiharu こみはる
Date of Birth: 1998/9/12 (14)
Hometown: Chiba
Blood Type: B
Favourite AKB48 Member: Watanabe Mayu, Oshima Yuko
Current Unit Song: Pajama Drive
Watching her performances and emcees immediately lowers one's blood pressure. Her charm point is definitely her joyous smile, and it's hard not to smile yourself even if you are just looking at her perform on your computer monitor. Her favorite food is melonpan.
Name: Sato Kiara 佐藤妃星
Nickname: Kiichan きぃちゃん
Date of Birth: 2000/8/11 (12)
Hometown: Chiba
Blood Type: B
Current Unit Song: Pajama Drive
Favourite AKB48 Member: Maeda Atsuko
Seichan is currently the youngest AKB48 member. Though pretty shy during emcees, she has a cute voice and vibe that makes her performance a joy to watch. She needs to work on the sharpness of her dance though.
Name: Tsuchiyasu Mizuki 土保瑞希
Nickname: Mizuki みずき
Date of Birth: 1996/10/5 (16)
Hometown: Osaka
Blood Type: O
Favourite AKB48 Member: -

Date of Birth: 2000/8/1(12)
Hometown: Kanagawa
Blood Type: -
Favourite AKB48 Member: Kojima Haruna

Initially shy, she has shown improvement in the later stages and has been speaking out more during emcees.
Name: Mukaichi Mion 向井地美音
Nickname: Miion みーおん
Date of Birth: 1998/*1/29 (15)
Hometown: Saitama
Blood Type: O
Favourite AKB48 Member: Kojima Haruna
Current Unit Song: Tenshi no Shippo
Mion was a popular child actress and has been cast in various dramas, movies, and commercials. Her prior history has made her one of the more notable member of the 15th Generation.
Name: Yumoto Ami 湯本亜美
Nickname: Yuami ゆあみ
Date of Birth: 1998/1/29 (15)
Hometown: Saitama
Blood Type: O
Favourite AKB48 Member: Oshima Yuko
Current Unit Song: Junjou Shugi
Although Yuami is able to hold herself decently during introductions and emcees, I personally feel that Yuami can do more to improve her expressions during performances. One of those "normal members at first sight," Yuami will have to work on getting a distinctive feature or point to gain more appeal.
AKB48 x WONDA New Drama [AKB48 Short Story]
AKB48 and WONDA will once again be collaborating, this time on a one-night only drama entitled [AKB48 Short Story]. The one hour drama (which is based on last year's WONDA commercials starring members of AKB48) will air on July 7th, 2013 from 12:25 AM to 1:25 AM on Fuji TV. Oshima Yuko, Kashiwagi Yuki, Kojima Haruna, Shinoda Mariko, Shimazaki Haruka, and Watanabe Mayu will be portraying OLs (office ladies) going about their daily lives in an office setting. The drama will contain six segments, each one adding to the story.
SKE48 member Shibata Aya will also appear in the drama. The role was awarded to her as a prize for gaining so many places during the 2013 AKB48 Senbatsu Seousenkyo.
In that past, AKB48 and WONDA have collaborated on ad campaigns before. The first, starting in March 2011 starred 15 members of AKB48. The next campaign began in February 2012 and featured individual commercials for each of the 90 members of AKB48--a feat that earned them a Guinness World Record.
I'm definitely looking forward to seeing all of the girls in their office attire! Who do you think will make the most believable OL?
