No Sleeves 5th Single [Kimishika] and New Mobile Drama [Kotodama no Onnatachi]

17 July: Updated with PV

No3b will be starring in a LISMO mini Mobile Drama, called [Kotodama no Onnatachi] (言霊の女たち) which translates to Women of the Power of Language. The theme song for the drama is no3b’s upcoming 5th single, [Kimishika] (Only you).

Women of the Power of Language sounds like a strange title, but from the trailer (after the jump), you can probably understand why. The three girls are seen doing calligraphy in the drama. I think it should be one of the more important points in the plot because of the title.

Its a mobile drama which means that it is only for Japanese Mobile phones. Hopefully it will be uploaded somewhere. The mini drama consists of four 5-minute episodes, which sounds pretty pathetic, but well, it is a mobile mini drama. I do like seeing no3b and I’ll be trying to find some way to watch this.

Kimishika PV
The song is really really good.
I did wish for something more upbeat and dark like Kisu no Ryuusei, but this went really well as well. The song is like a mid-tempo kind of ballad-pop and is smooth throughout. The instrumental sounds amazing and I particularly like that edgier bit at the end.
The PV on the other hand, is simply breathtaking! The director chose good locations to film the PV, because it goes with the song, and ends up looking like no3b went specially to an European country to film the PV.
Also, all three girls look fabulous in the PV. I really love their wardrobe. One of the best things about no3b is that you get to see AKB girls NOT in uniform. I'm not saying I dislike the AKB uniforms, but seeing the girls wear normal girly dresses is just plain amazing. Takamina especially, for me. *fangirling*
The PV might be filmed in typical idol style(closeups, dance shots etc.), but it turned out pretty darned well. It just shows you don't really need gimmicks to pull off a great PV. This one looks spectacularly effortless.
I will be buying this if I can because both the title song and PV are fantastic. I don't know about the coupling song but there are enough reasons for me to get it already.
