Not Yet 1st Single [Shuumatsu Not Yet]

 

     Announced during the Request Hour Setlist Best 100 2011, there is a new unit in town! Not Yet is compromised of Oshima Yuko, Kitahara Rie, Sashihara Rino and Yokayama Yui. The group is under the Nippon Columbia label, known for Team Dragon from AKB48, as well as Idolmaster and Matsuyama Chiharu. They will be releasing their debut single [Shuumatsu Not Yet] on 16 March 2011. Shuumatsu Not Yet is the theme for the new TV Asahi Drama Dr. Irabu Itirou, starring Tokushige Satoshi, Yo Kimiko and Hara Mikie.

      Shuumatsu Not Yet has been described as a "House-taste danceable tune". The song was composed by Abe Jun and arranged by Daisuke Suzuki of GIRL NEXT DOOR. There will be a total of 5 songs from Shuumatsu Not Yet, 4 of them new. The last song is Naki Nagara Hohoen de which is Oshima Yuko's very own solo song from Team K 3rd Stage [Nounai Paradise]. One interesting thing about this Single is that there will be 2 versions of the PV, directed by 2 different people. Reminds me of that RIVER PV thing they did in New York. Oh and Type C comes with a 32 page photobook.

     All members of Not Yet except for Yokoyama Yui is part of agency Ohto Pro. Quite a good lineup, and of course Yuko gets the center position. Yui, who has been pushed loads after being promoted from Kenkyuusei back last year, surprisingly gets 2nd position, leaving Sasshi and Rie at the sides. A little weird seeing that since Sasshi and Rie have been frontgirls ever since I can't remember when.
