Note: Since there is always the big problem of the Team colours, for this time I used the colours of the election posters from here. Except I darkened the Green of Team K to differentiate with Team KII.

Remember to vote for the members you support! Voting started yesterday 24 May 2011, and will last until 8 June 2011. Voting tickets are included all copies, except theater, of AKB48's 21st Single Everyday, Kachuusha.
So comments! Do remember that this is only the first result, a lot of things can and will happen.
(Melos) Sato Amina: Great to see Amina in Senbatsu (for now). Hopefully this hard worker manages to keep her position but I'm not so sure. During the 1st Election, her final vote count was 6k. Unfortunately it was still 6k on the 2nd Election. That meant her fanbase didn't grow that much. Good news is that she got promoted quite a lot more compared to last year so hopefully the growth this year manages to sustain her position.
(Kieyuku) Kitahara Rie: If Rie can maintain at #14 it's really more than I can ask for. Many people are expecting her rank to drop this year.
(Moonlight) Akimoto Sayaka: Sayaka is my oshi. Of course I would love to see her in senbatsu but since I feared she might be lower, I am actually satisfied with this result. Maybe she can barely make senbatsu in end result.
Oshima Yuko, Maeda Atsuko: Looks like there's still a war between the Acchan fans and the Yuko fans+Acchan haters. Who will prevail in the end? A load can happen. Personally I don't have an issue with Yuko leading the group, she did a fantastic job last year.
Itano Tomomi: I expected her to make a leap upwards this year, maybe even get #1 after that successful solo debut. But that is quite a huge leap down, I am really surprised
Kashiwagi Yuki: Even more surprising, Yukirin at #3! Yukirin is far from being one of my favourite members but I like her enough to want her as Tean B's top. Yeah!
Sashihara Rino, Yokoyama Yui: All that pushing everywhere has paid off I guess. Congrats!
Matsui Jurina: I knew Rena was more popular than Jurina now after Majisuka Gakuen but with Rena at #9, her at #16 is quite low.
That's all for mine. What about yours?
Not bad. Now if Yukirin could overthrow Acchan and Yuuko, that would be even better! Nothing against them, of course. :D It's probably impossible, though.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog! Info on how to vote if you're outside of Japan? THANKS!
ReplyDeleteMy top five oshis and a random SKE member are neck to neck at #18-23
ReplyDelete"Looks like there's still a war between the Acchan fans and the Yuko fans+Acchan haters."
ReplyDeleteSo, Yuko has no haters?

ReplyDeleteAt the voting site there is an option for overseas votes. However we are currently unsure if overseas votes will be counted or not. Once we clear that up we will post the guide.

Technically all girls have haters. But the number of Acchan haters dwarfs them all.
Just a little mistake in your report
ReplyDeleteOota Aika is not in team B ^^
This is the revival effect that make you confused ^^

ReplyDeleteAh thanks for informing me. My head isn't working so well yet.
it doesn't matter who gets first, since Acchan will still front all except the next single.
ReplyDeleteYuko - hmm .. I really don't understand why she keeps getting such high votes. I just don't see it in her ... -_-
ReplyDeleteYuki - wow .. Yuki #3 .. she even beat Mayu this time. I guess it's because of French Kiss' new single eh? I like Yuki, she seems like a great girl =3
Takamina - oh oh she's climbing. I like that. she is really funny =P
Mayu - ahh .. my kind-of-favorite Mayu. honestly, no comments. I think #5 is pretty good and I can kind of understand why she didn't get higher =\
