NO NAME 1st Single [Kibou ni Tsuite] 1st Week Sales + Review

AKB0048's Seiyuu unit NO NAME's debut single [Kibou ni Tsuite] sold 46,598 copies in it's 1st week ranking at #3. Considering that this single had no handshake events, very little promotions and being an anime tie-in single at that, 46K is actually pretty decent so congratulations to the unit!

Kibou ni Tsuite (希望について)

The song used for the anime's opening, it translates to "About Hope". The song of course has that anime feeling to it with it the verses transiting to a fast pace chorus. I love that  rock-ish bridge between this song after second chorus.

Yume wa Nandemo Umarekawaru (夢は何度も生まれ変わる)

The ending track of the anime, this one is more subtle compared to the a-side almost a ballad but not quiet. The beginning music really entranced me, a sort of chiming tune. The song is all about how dreams are reborn again and again with the girls singing the chorus ~Yume wa Reincarnation~ (dream are reincarnations).

Niji no Ressha (虹の列車)

This track was used for the last episode's ending and unlike the first two tracks, this song had the AKB Undergirls feeling to it. Generic and cute, and all that idol feeling this song had.

Overall: Best subunit for me with a fabulous single. I love all the tracks and I cannot wait for second season of AKB0048.
