Kashiwagi Yuki will release her debut solo single [Shortcake] on 2nd February 2013. It will be released in a total of 7 types. Three CD+DVD types which have both Limited and Regular Editions, and a Theatre Edition. For those purchasing all 6 CD+DVD types you get a bonus 3D case to house them in. The Limited Editions contain tickets to her 2nd solo concert on the 17th February 2013 at the Tokyo International Forum. The single will be the theme song to the drama [Mielino Kashiwagi], in which, as expected from the title, Yukirin plays the leading role. This drama started on the 11th January 2013 on TV Tokyo http://www.tv-tokyo.co.jp/kashiwagi/.
The single will be released on her own label Yukiring. Type A will feature an acoustic version of AKB48 single [Yukirin] is known to be a fan of. Before joining AKB48, Yukirin did audition for Morning Musume.
