AKB48 released their 35th single [
Mae Shika Mukanee] on
February 26th. The single which is the last one with
Oshima Yuko sold
970, 413 copies on its first day and clearly took the number 1 spot in the Oricon Daily Charts.
Sales went up from the Janken single [
Suzukake Nanchara] which sold 916,912 copies on its first day, but they are lower than those of the three singles before that: [
Sayonara Crawl], [
Koisuru Fortune Cookie] and [
Heart Ereki] all passed the one-million-mark on day one.
[
Mae Shika Mukanee] marks the start of an AKB48 Group release rush:
HKT48 will release their 3rd single two weeks later on
March 12th,
SKE48 follows on
March 19th and
NMB48 on
March 26th.
