Details on the AKB48 Group Pennant Race
The AKB48 Group teams will compete against each other in a new event, the AKB48 Group Pennant Race. Points will be awarded based on theater ticket applications, theater version handshake ticket sales and sousenkyo votes.

SDN48 announces best album [NEXT ENCORE] + Cover + Tracklist


SDN48 will be releasing their final single [Makeoshimi Congratulation] on 7th March and along with that they have announced that they will be releasing their best album titled [NEXT ENCORE] on March 14th. The group will have their final concert on March 31st. The whole album contains their previous single songs plus one new song that has not been titled yet.

The album comes in two types one with DVD and a theater version. In the theater version you get a coupon for a photo taking event. The DVD section includes how SDN has made it this far and a "My best SDN48 song" chosen by 39 members.

Honestly saying this is a disappointment, one of the really good 48 groups will be disbanding and a best album just doesn't seem right. The whole tracklist contains songs from their past singles and I think instead of a best album, SDN deserved an actual album. But anyways, March is already around the corner, for those who have never bought a SDN single, and if you want to support the group for the last time, I suggest you go ahead and buy it since it contains all their previous singles.
