AKB48 Member of the Year 2009 Results
Stage48 and Nihongogo have done a favourite member poll again like last year. Unlike previous years, this time all members under the AKB umbrella will be included in the poll. That means AKB48, AKB Kenkyuusei, SKE48, SKE Kenkyuusei, SDN48, SDN Unders, plus all those members who graduated in 2009. You are allowed to vote for your 10 favourite members and your 5 least favourite members. You are allowed to leave the least favourites blank. The point system is like this:

Request Hour ~Set List Best 100 2010~ (Prelude)
First things first is 'Prelude' the correct word to use?
In 5 days time on 21 January to 24 January, AKB (with SKE and SDN) will hold their yearly concert at the Shibuya AX, and perform 25 songs each day (not including encores) for 4 days in a row. The top 100 songs will be voted by the fans out from a total of 255. The voting period is over. For most of us foreign fans, we are only entitled to 1 vote via the RIVER single.
The Request Hour concert is basically a battle between the fans to see which song they like, but more importantly also a battle to see your Oshimen's unit in the ranking. This is especially if your Oshimen has graduated. Graduated girls are invited to perform for the concert if their unit is in the ranking. So the Hana Oshimens are gonna vote up Faint, Rinatin Oshimens...

15th single name: [Sakura no Shiori]
The name of the 15th single has been announced to be [Sakura no Shiori], which translates into something like Bookmark of the Cherry Tree (according to online translators). There will be 3 different versions to be released. Type A, Type B and Theatre version.
All 48 girls (new Teams so no Meetan, CinDy and so on) will be in Sakura no Shiori. There still isn't much information about Majisuka Rock. Previews aren't even out yet. Enkyori and Choose Me are performed by the PB and YJ Teams. Each single will come with a handshake ticket.
