On the 29 March, AKB48 Team A member Iwasa Misaki announced that she would be changing agency from Ogi Production to Nagara Production. This was announced at the end of the Team A 6th Stage show, on the day the theater reopened after the Tohoku earthquake.

The official reason given for the transfer was that she wants to open a path to become an Enka singer. (Enka is a kind of traditional Japanese sentimental ballad music.) She will officially be part of Nagara Production from 1 April 2011 onwards.
Congratulations to Wasamin for taking a step closer to her dream! The girl has a great voice suited for Enka (as witnessed by many during her performances in the Team Ogi Festival Concert and AKB48 Aki Matsuri's karaoke section) so this is definitely a good move. Nagara Pro is well-known for its Enka talents, especially renowned Enka singer Hikawa Kiyoshi, as well as its resources, so it will help Wasamin along.
This also means no more Watarirouka Hashiritai 7 since Wasamin will no longer be involved with Ogi Pro. Well the single was a one-off thing as stated by them, but I meant the Watarirouka Hashiritai 7 radio show. No more IwaKomo image DVDs either. However, the recently announced "4 YOU" image DVD that includes Matsubara Natsumi, Nonaka Misato, Komori Mika and herself will still be released as announced, on 20 April since it has completed filming.
