JKT48 5th single and Senbatsu Sousenkyo


JKT48 management have announced that JKT48 5th single will be Flying Get, it comes from AKB48 22th single which was centered by Maeda Atsuko. JKT48's Flying Get will be released on 5th March.

Tracklist and details are still not yet announced, but the 16 senbatsu members will consist of:

Team J: Melody Nurramdhani, Nabilah Ratna Ayu, Nakagawa Haruka, Jessica Veranda, shania Junianatha, Ayana Shahab, Devi Kinal Putri, Rezky Wiranti Dhike, Jessica Vania, Sendy Ariani

Team KIII: Cindy Yuvia, Shinta Naomi, Viviyona Apriani, Ratu Vienny Fitrilya, Alicia Chanzia.

This Single will be the first time for Ghaida Farisya, Sendy Ariani, Viviyona Apriani, and Alicia Chanzia to participate as single senbatsu members.

JKT48 also will run the system of Election Senbatsu  (Sousenkyo Senbatsu) for their 6th single. Even though the mechanism of voting and detail ares still not yet announced, the management already hinted that the official fan club will get one extra vote in the voting.

Kenkyuusei Promotion

On Manatsu no Sounds Good handshake festival, the management announced that Jennifer Rachel Natasya & Thalia Ivanka Elizabeth from Kenkyuusei were getting promotion into Team J. Both are debuting on the day after exactly at 24th February 2014.

The rest of the kenkyuusei will remain as kenkyuusei. They are Saktia Oktapyani, Priscillia Sari Dewi, Dena Siti Rohyati, Fakhiryani Shafaryanti, and Novinta Dini.

Team KIII New Stage

Team KIII who have already finished their Boku no Taiyou stage will soon perform their new setlist. The setlist is going to be "Seishun Girls" from K2( second stage of team K). The shonichi of KIII2 will be held on 8th March 2013.

Status of Aki Takajo, Rena Nozawa, Chikano Rina.

Following the shuffling teams decision from Dai Sokaku Matsuri, both Aki Takajo and Rena Nozawa's status as concurrent of AKB48 and JKT48 will be revoked and they will only participate in their new team (Kuramochi Team B).

At the same time, Chikano Rina was fully transferred to JKT48. There are still no further details about the team she will belong to in JKT48 after previously belonging to Oshima Team K.

Chikano Rina herself has made a post about the decision.

Nabilah Ratna Ayu will release a photobook.

Nabilah Ratna Ayu will release a photobook titled Otenba. It will be released on 28 February.
She becomes the third member in JKT48 who has an exclusive photobook after Melody Nurramdhani and Jessica Veranda.

AKB48 Group Weekly News Roundup (1-7 July 2013)

AKB48
- Team B's Nakamura Mariko was given a lead role in the stage play [Sengoku Kourin Girls].
- Team A's Nakatsuka Tomomi has created a twitter account. Follow her at @tmm_n0618
- The [AKB48 in Seibu Dome] and [AKB48 in Saitama Super Arena] Blurays were released on 3rd July.
- AKB48 will be performing at the Tokyo Disneysea on 18th October
- The AKB48 Kenkyuusei Preliminary round took place on 6th July, and Yumoto Ami, Kojima Mako, Tsuchiyasu Mizuki and Owada Nana will take part in AKB48's Janken Tournament on 18th September.
- Shimazaki Haruka will release her own solo photobook [Paruru Komaru] on 19th July.
- The 7th July Handshake event was the final handshake event for Akimoto Sayaka, Itano Tomomi and Shinoda Mariko, and the final AKB48 event at all for Komori Mika, Nakatsuka Tomomi and Matsubara Natsumi, who have now graduated from the group.

SKE48
- SKE48 Kenkyuuseis Owaki Arisa, Kitahara Yuna, Takeuchi Saki and Sasaki Yuka have won the SKE48 Kenkyuusei Janken Preliminaries and will advance into the main SKE48 Janken Preliminaries.
- The SKE48 Janken Preliminaries was held on 3rd July, and Mizuno Honoka, Ami Miyamae, Mikoto Uchiyama, Kyoka Isohara, Seira Sato, Matsumoto Rina, Narumi Ichino and Mai Takeuchi will take part in AKB48's Janken Tournament on 18th September.

NMB48
- Team N's Fukumoto Aina held her graduation ceremony on 1st July.
- NMB48 wrapped up their East Japan Tour on 4th July at the NHK Hall in Tokyo. They did a different Set List from the usual, do check it out HERE.
- Watanabe Miyuki's solo DVD/Blueray [Miruneko] was released on 2nd July
- The NMB48 Janken Preliminary round was conducted on 4th July, and the winners are Shiroma Miru, Kamieda Emika, Mizuki Uno, Ayaka Morita, Koyanagi Arisa, Murakami Ayaka, Okita Ayaka and Kobayashi Rikako.. They will take part in AKB48's Janken Tournament on 18th September.

HKT48
- HKT48 Team H 1st Stage [Te wo Tsunaginagara]'s CD and DVD was released on 6th July.
- HKT48 was added to the list of performers for the Tokyo Idol Festival 2013.

JKT48
- JKT48 announced and released their 2nd Single [Yuuhi wo Mite iru ka?] on 3rd May.
- Team KIII's Shinta Naomi was made the captain of the new team.
- Plans for a 3rd Generation of JKT48 members have been announced.
- JKT48 will be releasing their first own movie [JKT48 The Movie], date unannounced.
- The [Pajama Drive] Stage DVD for 1st and 2nd Generations have been announced and released on 6th July, and a revival show will be held for that stage sometime on July.  Fans will be given the right to choose the members participating in the show.
- JKT48 will release their own version of AKB48's 32nd Single [Koisuru Fortune Cookie] on 21st August, the same day ask AKB's release.
- JKT48 finished their [Let Us Introduce Ourselves: JKT48] concert tour on 4th July at Jakarta.

Nogizaka46
- Nogizaka46's 6th Single [Girl's Rule] went on sale on 3rd July, selling 286,492 for the first day.

Graduates
- Nakatsuka Tomomi's graduation photobook was released on 5th July.
- AKB48 Graduate Nakaya Sayaka has signed on with amuleto, a seiyuu agency.
- Maeda Atsuko is in Australia!
- SKE48 Graduate Kuwabara Mizuki will take part in the stage play [Monster Swing], her first job after graduating from SKE48. It will start showing from 29th August to 1st September at the Ikebukuro Theater Green.

AKB48 Group Weekly News Roundup (24-30 June 2013)

AKB48
- AKB48's 32nd Single is titled [Koisuru Fortune Cookie], release date will be 21st August.
- SNH48's Miyazawa Sae's request not to be a concurrent member of AKB48 Team K has been accepted.
- Shinoda Mariko's graduation performance at the AKB48 Theater is on 22nd July, Itano Tomomi's on 27th July, and Akimoto Sayaka's on 28th July.
- JKT48's Takajo Aki made her debut in Team B as a concurrent member. Her unit song is Namida ni Shizumu Taiyou.
- Omori Miyu also made her debut in Team B after receiving her promotion to the Team. Her unit song is Gomen ne Jewel.
- AKB48 and SKE48 will perform at A-Nation Idol Nation 2013 on 10th August.
- AKB48 sub-unit DiVA will perform at A-Nation Island Departure on 3rd August.
- Matsui Sakiko has started her own twitter account! Follow her at @skc1210.
- Katayama Haruka, Kikuchi Ayaka and Abe Maria will hold a handshake event in Taiwan on 2nd July.
- The AKB48 Kenkyuusei Janken Preliminaries will take place on 6th July.

SKE48
- SKE48 and AKB48 will perform at A-Nation Idol Nation 2013 on 10th August.
- Matsui Jurina has suspended performances until further notice due to poor health.
- Team S's 3rd Stage [Seifuku no Me]'s Senshuuraku will take place on 10th July, and the new stage's Shonichi will be on 23rd July.
- Team KII's 3rd Stage [Ramune no Nomikata]'s Senshuuraku will take place on 12th July, and the new stage's Shonichi will be on 25th July.
- Team E's 2nd Stage [Saka Agari]'s Senshuuraku will take place on 11th July, and the new stage's Shonichi will be on 24th July.

NMB48
- NMB48's Official website has updated their members' profile pictures.
- Their 7th single [Bokura no Eureka], released on 19th June, sold 420,906 copies on it's first week, ranking 1st in the weekly chart.
- Kenkyuusei Ishihara Masako has graduated from the group.
- NMB48 Kenkyuuseis Uno Mizuki, Shibuya Nagisa and Morita Ayaka have have won the NMB48 Kenkyuusei Janken Preliminaries and will advance into the main NMB48 Janken Preliminaries.
- The NMB48 Janken Preliminaries will take place on 4th July.


HKT48
- The HKT48 Kenkyuusei Janken Preliminaries will take place on 10 July, and the HKT48 Janken Preliminaries will take place on the same day.


JKT48
- JKT48's Team KIII was formed, 18 members made the cut.


SNH48
- Miyazawa Sae's request not to be a concurrent member of AKB48 Team K has been accepted.
- SNH48 2nd gen auditions are currently taking place.

Graduates

AKB48 Group Weekly News Roundup (17-23 June 2013)

AKB48
- The tracklist and CD covers for Watanabe Mayu's 4th single [Rappa Renshuuchuu] was revealed.
- Itano Tomomi and Akimoto Sayaka will both graduate at the [AKB48 2013 Summer Dome Tour] together with Shinoda Mariko.
- Maeda Atsuko, who graduated on August last year, will be performing back with AKB48 at their Sapporo Dome concert on 31st July. She will perform her new single (and possibly more) at the concert.
- Iwasa Misaki will release a cover album, and is taking requests from the fans for songs to cover. Applications end on 10th August.
- After Smurf 2, Takahashi Minami will dub a Korean drama titled [Happy Ending], which is based on a story by Akimoto Yasushi.
- JKT48 Team J member Rena Nozawa has announced her concurrency with AKB48 due to her parents returning to Japan to work.
- SKE48 Team E's Furuhata Nao made her debut in Team K as a concurrent member. Her unit song is Higurashi no Koi together with Oshima Yuko.
- HKT48 Team H's Kodama Haruka made her debut in Team A as a concurrent member. Her unit songs are Glass no I LOVE YOU and Skirt, Hirari.
- Kashiwagi Yuki's 2nd solo live DVD and Blu-ray was released on 19th June.
- [Sayonara Crawl] took the No.1 spot for single sales in the first half of 2013, with 1,926,445 copies sold since it's release in May.
- AKB48 filmed the PV for their 32nd Single at Fukuoka, more than 3,000 extras were involved.
- The 34th Single Janken Tournament will take place on 18 September.
- AKB48 performed with SNH48 last weekend at the Asia Style Collection held in Singapore.



SKE48
- The stages that the new SKE48 Teams will perform will be decided through a fan vote.
- Furuhata Nao made her debut in AKB48's Team K as a concurrent member. Her unit song is Higurashi no Koi together with AKB48's Oshima Yuko.
- SKE48's 3rd Request Hour concert was announced.
- A preview of the PV of their 12th Single [Utsukushi Inazuma] was uploaded on SKE48's YouTube Channel
- The covers if [Utsukushi Unazuma] was revealed.
- Team E's 2nd Stage [Saka Agari] will release on DVD around July.


NMB48
- NMB48's 7th single [Bokura no Eureka] released on 19th June, selling 420,906 copies on day one and ranking first in the Oricon Daily Charts.
- Their 1st album [Teppen Tottande] grabbed the No.1 for album sales in the first half of 2013, with 411,800 copies sold since it's late February release.


HKT48
- HKT48 will be fighting against Nogizaka46 in a new joint TV show [Nogizaka 46 ×HKT 48-kan bangumi battle!], airing on NTV starting July.
- Kodama Haruka made her debut in AKB48's Team A as a concurrent member. Her unit songs are Glass no I LOVE YOU and Skirt, Hirari.


JKT48
- JKT48 Team J's Rena Nozawa has announced her concurrency with AKB48 due to her parents returning to Japan to work.
- JKT48 started their nationwide tour this week with their first stop at Makassar on 23rd June.
- JKT48's new Tv show [JKT48 Missions] Started airing this week.


SNH48
- SNH48 performed with AKB48 last weekend at the Asia Style Collection held in Singapore.

- Nogizaka46 will be fighting against HKT48 in a new joint TV show [Nogizaka 46 ×HKT 48-kan bangumi battle!], airing on NTV starting July.
- Hashimoto Nanami has been casted in a drama titled [SUMMER NUDE], the series will start airing on Fuji TV starting 8 July.


Graduates
- Maeda Atsuko, who graduated on August last year, will be performing back with AKB48 at their Sapporo Dome concert on 31st July 2013. She will perform her new single (and possibly more) at the concert.
- Maeda Atsuko was featured in the CM for Les Miserables's DVD and Blu-ray Release in Japan

Weekly News Roundup (10-16 June 2013)

In a new feature, we've decided to do a weekly news roundup of all the news from the AKB48 groups that we couldn't cover in fully fledged posts.

AKB48 Takahashi Minami to be a voice actor in the Japanese version of the [Smurfs 2] movie. Nakatsuka Tomomi held her graduation theatre performance with Team A on the 13th June. Nakatsuka Tomomi will release a graduation photobook on the 5th July. Itano Tomomi mentioned on Kayou-Kyoku that her graduation date would be in August. Itano Tomomi's 4th single [1%] sold less than 48k copies on it's first day on sale to place 4th in the Oricon daily singles charts. The album [Buraban AKB48!] was released by the Tokyo Kosei Wind Orchestra, covering AKB48 songs. Tracklist and previews here. [AKB48 Request Hour Setlist Best 100 2013] was released on Bluray, featuring a new music video for the number one song [Hashire! Penguin]. AKB48 and SNH48 will be performing in Singapore along with Hatsune Miku, 2NE1, Girls Generation and more on 22nd June at the Asia Style Collection event. [Bad Boys J], the TV series featuring Itano Tomomi and Nogizaka46, will be released on DVD and Bluray on 11th September, with a movie coming out on 9th November. Furuhata Nao will make her Team K debut at Maeda Ami's birthday show on 18th June, and Kodama Haruka's Team A debut will take place on 19th June. News reports say that AKB48's 32nd single will be Ondo style. Yokoyama Yui passed her Challenge U-Can and achieved a pharmacy qualification. Watch the video here. Akimoto Sayaka promoted the movie [Spring Breakers]. The winner of the fan contest to design Watanabe Mayu's 4th solo single [Rappa Renshuuchuu] was announced here. SKE48 SKE48 held a fan vote to decide on stages for their three new shuffled teams, read more here. NMB48 NMB48 started their East Japan Tour [12/31] performing three dates. Read the setlists here. JKT48 JKT48 announced concerts in Makassar on 23rd June,  Solo on 27th June, and Balikpapan on 28th June. Nakagawa Haruka, Della Delila, and Shania Junianatha ran in the Pocari Sweat run in Singapore. JKT48 won Best Boyband/Girlband at the Indonesia Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards. SNH48 Their 1st EP [Heavy Rotation] released, more info here. They performed two songs the Shanghai International Film Festival on the 16th June. AKB48 and SNH48 will be performing in Singapore along with Hatsune Miku, 2NE1, Girls Generation and more on 22nd June at the Asia Style Collection event. Nogizaka46 [Bad Boys J], the TV series featuring Itano Tomomi and Nogizaka46, will be released on DVD and Bluray on 11th September, with a movie coming out on 9th November Graduated Nakanishi Rina stated on her blog that she is married. Kasai Tomomi performed a mini-live event in relation to her 2nd solo single [Mine]. Maeda Atsuko won the Best Actress award for [Kueki Ressha] at the 22nd Japanese Professional Movie Awards(Nichi Pro Awards).
