[Ponytail to Shushu] Final Update + Review

One day left till the release date, and everything has been revealed to us. All PVs are below after the jump.

Will Ponytail to Shushu outsell Sakura no Shiori? My guess is YES, it definitely will. Especially since the voting tickets for the upcoming Senbatsu Election 2010 , which starts on the same day Ponyshu is released, are included inside. And since most people are buying at least 2 copies (one of each type), it only spells awesome sales. What's more, the Ninki points for Ponyshu is 260.80! That's more than 100 points more than SakuShio! That's not all, the amount of copies shipped (to the stores, not sold) is 500,000!! My prediction on the sales for first day is at least 300,000, 400,000 for first week. It will be awesome if Ponyshu can finally hit the 500,000 mark. And a year ago AKB Single sales were barely making 80,000!

More after the jump

Ponytail to Shushu PV

Ponytail to Shushu members (15 AKB, 1 SKE)
Team A: Kojima Haruna, Shinoda Mariko, Takajo Aki, Takahashi Minami, Maeda Atsuko
Team K: Itano Tomomi, Oshima Yuko, Ono Erena, Minegishi Minami, Miyazawa Sae
Team B: Kasai Tomomi, Kashiwagi Yuki, Kitahara Rie, Miyazaki Miho, Watanabe Mayu
Team S: Matsui Jurina

Ponytail to Shushu PV definitely loaded with fanservice. It was mentioned already in the forums by some people who saw the full PV but I didn't think it was that bad. Woah I died 10 seconds into the PV. If you haven't died by the time the opening ends, you definitely will by the time it ends. Like I said previously, my favourite part of the PV has to be the scene where Sae fixed her hair in the wind. My least favourite part would be all those helicopter scenes where the shadow of the helicopter is visible.
The song itself is great, it fits the summery mood. The instrumental is just awesome. My favourite part is the chorus because I just love the overlapping voices, but the rest of the song is still good.

Nusumareta Kuchibiru PV

Nusumareta Kuchibiru members (14 AKB, 2 SKE)
Team A: Iwasa Misaki, Oota Aika, Katayama Haruka, Kuramochi Asuka, Sashihara Rino, Maeda Ami
Team K: Akimoto Sayaka, Kikuchi Ayaka, Nito Moeno, Fujie Reina
Team B: Oku Manami, Komori Mika, Sato Amina, Sato Sumire
Team S: Matsui Rena, Yagami Kumi

I was expecting a lot from Nusumareta Kuchibiru PV when I first saw the PV preview. I'm very disappointed with it. The setting is good and the dance moves are great too, but they overused the slow motion effect. And arrgh Amina got so little screentime! Despite her high mixi ranking, AKB management never feature her much. Nevertheless, Rena and Haachan is hawt in the PV so I'll let this one slide.
The song is great, again my favourite is the chorus, but the non-chorus parts weren't really captivating.

Boku no YELL PV

Boku no YELL members (19 AKB)
Team A:
Oya Shizuka, Nakagawa Haruka, Nakata Chisato, Nakaya Sayaka, Matsubara Natsumi
Team K: Uchida Mayumi, Umeda Ayaka, Tanabe Miku, Nonaka Misato, Nakatsuka Tomomi, Matsui Sakiko, Yonezawa Rumi
Team B: Ishida Haruka, Kobayashi Kana, Sato Natsuki, Suzuki Mariya, Chikano Rina, Hirajima Natsumi, Masuda Yuka

Boku no YELL PV is good but there were too many shots of the Kenkyuuseis. They really are pushing this batch of kenkyuuseis a lot. The story of the PV is great. Finally we have a storyline in AKB PVs again. Though I have to ask...if Boku no YELL is used for promoting Table Tennis, why the hell is the PV a Soccer match??
Song is good, but nothing interesting. My least favourite song of this single. Very forgettable.

Majijo Teppen Blues PV

Majijo Teppen Blues members
Majisuka Gakuen cast, + Yabakune cast

Majijo PV is probably the best PV ever. When I first heard the song I thought that they would just copypaste the scenes from the drama. I like how they reacted everything out. The Takamina scene was a little weird though. And I'm glad they included the Yabakune cast in it. The ending was definitely WTF but at the same time LOL. And Komori WINS.
The song by itself is irritating, because most of the song is talking.

It's because the office may want to do cross-promotion, both in World Cup and World Table Tennis match :D
