WONDA x AKB48

     A new collaboration! AKB48 will be pairing up with Asahi Soft Drink to help promote their WONDA Coffees. Specifically, their "WONDA Morning Shot" and "WONDA Kin no Bitou" canned coffees. A total of 15 AKB members will appear in CMs for this. The campaign starts from now till 12 May.

     There are two different types of CMs. The first one "Morning Greetings" has the members in an office greeting staff. The second is "Dealer" and will have Maeda Atsuko, Oshima Yuko, Itano Tomomi, Takahashi Minami and Kojima Haruna dress up as casino dealers at a "Wonderful roulette" table. They will be asking salarymen which member he chooses. There will be several versions of that CM showing the girls' different reactions to the different members chosen. The different versions will be shown on the WONDA x AKB48 collaboration website starting tomorrow. A new song has been written specially for the CMs, titled Korekara Wonderland.

     That's not all, there are chances to win official merchandise! To do so, you have to purchase either a "WONDA Morning Shot" or "WONDA Kin no Bitou" canned coffee. Those who do should head to the official website where you get to get to play roulette online. Your not betting any money though, only those that you spent on the coffee, so it is legal for all ages. Choose one of the 56 members of AKB48 and if you select the right one, you will receive an original merchandise.
