[Junjou U-19], NMB48's 3rd single which was released on February 8th 2012, has managed to top the JAPAN HOT 100 charts. It made a huge jump from 90th last week to 1st this week.
NMB48 has kept its consistence theme of singing about the maiden heart in the previous singles such as Zetsumetsu Kurokami Shoujo and Oh My God, and in this single, they sing about a girl in adolescence and her wanting to protect that pure heart till she reaches 19 years old. To express this complicated, they used the expression "let me keep the metal panties for a while longer" till she is ready to become an adult.
