Starting July 12, NMB48 will get a new TV show as regulars called Naniwa Nadeshiko. Naniwa is the old name of Osaka, while Nadeshiko refers to 'Yamato Nadeshiko', a term used for the pure beauty of Japanese women.
The show will be aired every Tuesday night on Nihon Terebi, which makes it the first regular show of the group to be broadcasted in the Tokyo region. Apart from NMB48 the show will also feature comedy duo Peace as hosts.
The concept of the show is 'NMB48 meets Tokyo'. NMB48's homebase is Osaka and its members come from the surrounding Kansai region in West Japan so Tokyo is an unknown place for them. The show makes use of that and will bring NMB48 members to a variety of locations in Tokyo.
This show means another step forward for NMB48. They already have quite a few regular shows on TV and radio in the Kansai region and now they are going to expand to Tokyo.
