During a handshake event on August 14, NMB48 announced that their second single will be released on October 19 (further details TBA). At the same time the Senbatsu members for this single were announced as a surprise even to the members themselves.
Senbatsu members are:

Ogasawara Mayu, Kadowaki Kanako, Kishino Rika, Kinoshita Haruna, Kotani Riho, Kondo Rina, Jonishi Kei, Shiroma Miru, Fukumoto Aina, Yamada Nana, Yamamoto Sayaka, Yoshida Akari, Watanabe Miyuki
2nd Generation Kenkyuusei
Jo Eriko, Yagura Fuko, Yogi Keira
The Senbatsu line-up is basically Team N spiced up with three 2nd Generation members. I feel a bit sorry for the three Team N girls that did not make it, Shinohara Kanna, Matsuda Shiori and Yamaguchi Yuuki, especially for Yuuki who I really like a lot. On the other side I am very happy about my oshi Jonishi Kei making it.
Jo Eriko making it out of the 2nd Generation is no surprise since she gets quite some pushing. I did not expect the other two 2nd Generation girls though.
As for the single itself I am looking forward to see which style NMB48 will be going with from now on. After the success of their debut single the expectations are high now for sure.
