Details on the AKB48 Group Pennant Race
The AKB48 Group teams will compete against each other in a new event, the AKB48 Group Pennant Race. Points will be awarded based on theater ticket applications, theater version handshake ticket sales and sousenkyo votes.

SDN48 3rd Gen Profile Pictures Up

SDN48 has finally put up the profile pictures for the 3rd Generation members on its official homepage. The 3rd Generation girls, among them former AKB48 members Komatani Hitomi and Tojima Hana,  already have been revealed in May and they made their official stage debut in the theater on July 9. So it was about time for the profile pictures.

Personally, I like the former AKB48 girls pictures the most. Especially Hana stands out to me, partly because I have already been a fan of hers before she joined SDN48. Among the 'new girls' I am interested in the Korean member, Siyeon. I wonder how she will fit in and how well she manages Japanese.

Too bad the profile picture of Hayakawa Sayo wasn't up before she graduated
