NMB 2nd Single [Oh My God!] PV released

NMB48 is going to release its 2nd single, titled Oh My God! on October 19 and the PV for the single has now been released. The PV is set in a high school in Osaka and the girls act as a soccer team. Apart from the usual PV, there is also going to be a dance version. Check out the PVs!

The PV itself looks quite low-budget and some people even call it 'cheap' but it works for me personally. It is charming and cute and although the song and PV is now much more idoly than their debut single, NMB48 still keeps it's high energy dances I like it a lot. The PV also includes scenes of the girls dancing as cheerleaders. While the girls look adorable in the cheer girl uniforms, the color choice is a crime. Pink uniforms with red pom poms?! My eyes hurt.

Before the PV was revealed I was a bit worried that the 2nd Generation Kenkyusei would be featured a lot more then most of the full members but I am relieved that this did not happen. Jo Eriko gets a special appearance during the soccer game in the PV looking a bit like a heroine coming to save the team but that's it.

Overall I am satisfied with the PV and the single. The whole thing is quite generic and typical idol stuff but it is charming, so it is ok for me. I just hope we get to see some different stuff for the B-side PVs and some more high-budget stuff for future singles.
