NMB48 performed its first solo concert [NMB48 Ishuunen Kinen Kouen] on October 9 in the NHK Osaka Hall to commemorate their first appearance exactly one year ago at the AKB48 Aki Matsuri.
The group performed two different setlists on a noon and night concert including songs from their singles, stages, AKB48 singles as well as shuffle units in the evening concert.
Knowing x48, you always have to be prepared for some announcements during a concert and NMB48 followed this tradition making three annoucements.
First of all is the Audition for the 3rd Generation starting October 10. Girls between 11 and 22 years old can apply, experience is not necessary. Deadline is November 15.
The 2nd announcement is a present to x48 overseas fans, Melos in particular: NMB48's Team N will perform their 2nd stage [Seishun Girls] in Singapore on December 4th!
Not forgetting their Japanese fans, performances of the 2nd Generation show [Party ga hajimaru yo] in SKE48 Theater (Dec 3) and AKB48 Theater (Dec 4) were also announced.
Personally I am torn about all that. The setlists look interesting and I am curious about the shuffle units, also I am happy for the Singapore fans getting a show. But hearing about 3rd Generation Audition caught me off guard. I think it might be too early. The group is a year old and already gets a 3rd Generation? NMB48 is sure moving fast.
Anyways, I hope we will get to see a DVD of this event soon!
