Details on the AKB48 Group Pennant Race
The AKB48 Group teams will compete against each other in a new event, the AKB48 Group Pennant Race. Points will be awarded based on theater ticket applications, theater version handshake ticket sales and sousenkyo votes.

AKB48, SKE48 to perform on [Best Artist 2011]

More not-so-important stuff that we tweeted about but not blog yet


AKB48 and SKE48 has been selected to perform on NTV's annual music concert [Nittere kei Ongaku no Saiten Best Artist 2011].

This is the 2nd time that AKB48 has performed in Best Artist, but the first for SKE48.

The host of this year's Best Artist will be Arashi's Sakura Sho for the 3rd time running, and will be be co-hosted by NTV announcers Hatori Shinichi and Suzue Nana. This year's theme is "cheering Japan up with music".


Best Artist 2011 will be aired live on November 30th at 7:00PM JST, on NTV.
