With just a week to spare, AFA11 has finally announced the details of the AKB48 zone. Two AKB members will be flying down; Team A's Nakaya Sayaka (Nakayan) and Team K's Tanabe Miku (Tanamin).
Contrary to the earlier blog post on the AKB48 Official Blog (http://ameblo.jp/akihabara48/entry-11069205134.html), Team 4's Abe Maria WILL NOT be attending AFA11.
Nakaya Sayaka and Tanabe Miku will be making an appearance on November 13th at AFA11's Main Stage 12:00PM to 12:45PM. Details are sketchy but they will be doing a short Q&A session. A performance is also likely.

AKB48 Singapore will also have a sales booth at AFA11, where they will be selling goods from the AKB48 Official Shop Singapore. There are also exclusive AFA11 only items like a shirt ($42) and mug ($18) illustrated by Team A's Takahashi Minami, as well as AKB48 Singapore Can-Badges ($4 each).
Every $20 spent at the AKB48 Singapore Official Booth will entitle you to a handshake session with Nakaya Sayaka and Tanabe Miku.
And finally, there will also be special performances by AKB48 Singapore's very own Cafe Girls! They will be performing at the Canon Mini Stage on the following timings:
12 November 2011 (Saturday)
- 12:15PM ~ 12.30PM
- 4:30PM ~ 4:45PM
13 November 2011 (Sunday)
- 2:50PM ~ 3:00PM
- 4:45PM ~ 5:00PM

Nakayan and Tanamin are 1 half of the quartet group OTA4, along with Watanabe Mayu and Ota Aika. OTA4 is the anime otaku group in AKB48. The four frequently cosplay at AKB events and also on their free time.

At AKB48's Aki Matsuri Karaoke concert last year, OTA4 did a cover of a song from one of my all time favourite series, Mahou Sensei Negima's Happy☆Material! Negima is my favourite manga btw. Been following it for over 4 years now. Yuecchi oshi! Anyway watch their cover below.
