The full PV for Watarirouka Hashiritai 7's new single [Kibou Sanmyaku] has been released! True to their description, the dance is super simple! By which I mean, they mostly stand in one spot, bend their knees, clap their hands, and move their arms in slow circular motions. Definitely an easy dance to follow along to ^_^
I'm really loving the retro flavor of the song, definitely does remind me of old-timey Japanese pop, and I love that they made the PV match the retro-ness of the song. The setting looks like a 50's coffeehouse type of performance and the black-and-white along with the grainy technicolor imagery definitely give an old-timey feel. Also, it's very meta, because the girls are actually both in civilian dress in the audience and on stage at the same time! I just wish they would share the secret of time travel with me so I could do that too! It's not as energetic and hyper as what I've come to expect from this group, but they are adorable nonetheless. Now I just wonder if the B-sides are going to be more their usual hyperness, or if they will also be retro.
The single itself will be released 30 November 2011, so look forward to it!
