On February 12th, NMB48 Team N's Ogasawara Mayu announced on her official blog that she has managed to pass the 2nd round of the 2012 R-1 Grand Prix comedy competition.
Originally she was accompanied in the competition by fellow NMB48 member Kishino Rika. The both of them managed to pass the 1st round which was held on January 13th, however Rikanyan failed to pass through round two.

The 3rd round will will be held on February 21st and 22nd. If Maachun passes that too, then it's on to the semi-finals for her. Best of luck to Maachun for the competition.

Today was Round 2 of R-1 Grand Prix.
I thought, "finally the day was upon me"
I wanted to cry like last time because I was not confident at all
During the show I was able to come up with skits on the spot with everything I had

February 22nd EDIT: Sadly, Ogasawara Mayu did not manage to pass the 3rd round of R-1 Grand Prix. But considering that she is an idol, managing to get this far is quite impressive.
