Sashihara Rino Transferred to HKT48
Few days ago an article popped out about Sashihara Rino having a boyfriend and that she sent nude pictures to him. Today at ANN, Sasshi denied sending such pictures but she didn't deny he was her friend either. And just a few moments ago at ANN, Aki-P announced that Sasshi will now transfer to HKT48. Rather than penalty like suspension, Sasshi will be transferred to HKT like a reset.

Deciphering the AKB48 Official Diary 2012-2013
AKB48's [Official Diary 2012-2013] book was released on Friday, March 23, 2012. In the diary were profiles and more information of all AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, and even JKT48 members. Included in the diary were several code words. Some corresponded to important dates in AKB48, others were not as easy to find out.

AKB48 4th Senbatsu Election (27th Single) Decided
The AKB48 4th Senbatu General Election was announced during the final day of AKB48's Saitama Super Arena concert. The 4th Senbatsu General Election will be choose the senbatsu members for the 27th Single, and will take place in the Nippon Budokan on June 6th.

Maeda Atsuko Announces Her Graduation
Maeda Atsuko, the face of AKB48, has announced her graduation tonight on the final day of AKB48's [Gyoumu Renraku. Tanomu zo, Katayama-buchou!] concert in Saitama Super Arena. No graduation date has been announced at this time.

AKB48's Tokyo Dome Concert Announced!

NO NAME 1st Single [Kibou ni Tsuite] 1st Day Sales


The 1st day sales for the debut single, [Kibou ni Tsuite], from AKB48 subunit NO NAME are out. NO NAME consists of the seiyuu (voice actors) from the anime series [AKB0048]. They sold 18,442 copies on day one, placing #3 in the Oricon Daily sales charts. Second place Mizuki Nana, sold 23,921 copies. The anime series itself has proven successful enough to spawn a second season, coming in 2013.


Quite low first day sales for NO NAME. Compared to all other AKB48 related releases this year, this is only higher than Wasamin's solo single and DiVA's latest (although that was released a day earlier than is standard and sold a lot more on day two). This also sold quite a lot less than the Team Dragon one-off sub-unit.
