AKB48 members agency promotions

Also announced during the Yokohama Arena concert. Several members from AKB, and 2 members from SDN, will be transferred from AKS (AKB's own agency), to other various agencies. BTW this is a good thing.
Signing with the agencies are not final, they have merely expressed interest in the girls. The girls have to talk to their families and current agencies before a decision is made. At the time of this post, most of the girls have accepted the transfers.

Know your AKB Members: Masuyama Kayano

This one is different from the previous posts, Kayano is a graduated member who left AKB48 on 2007, long before I became a fan. So basically I don't know anything about her, other than I've seen her in a couple of early single PVs and a few concert performances and thats all. One of AKB's original members. Recommend reading to learn about some of the past of AKB.

Know your AKB Members: Kashiwagi Yuki

2nd post of this series. This one is about Kashiwagi Yuki. AKB's Reaction Queen, Team B captain and also Weather girl for Hiruobi.  She's a great singer and performer and is one of my favourite girls in AKB. I first took notice of her while watching her performance in Inochi no Tsukaimichi at the Request Hour 2009. From then on, she has always kept rising in my ranking. Hope she rises on yours too!

Know your AKB Members: Oshima Yuko

Hey guys. Remember a month ago when I asked for volunteers to write a post about yourfavourite member? This one: http://melosnomichi.blogspot.com/2010/02/volunteer-writers-wanted.html
Very sorry for the long wait. Well good news is that the first batch is finished. By the way I need more volunteers for the rest of the members or I will have to end with 4 posts. Anyway let's start this series with a post about Oshima Yuko, AKB's Idol entertainer and 2nd most popular AKB girl from the Iiwake Senbatsu elections. And also 2nd on my ranking! I love Yuko. She's energetic, funny, cool, and is an awesome singer.

Cake Day Season 3: Cake not included

I'd like to wish International Wota a very
HAPPY THIRD ANNIVERSARY
and
HAPPY PUDDING.....i mean.....CAKE DAY!!!!

I'd like to thank IW for the times they have helped me, like the time I was looking for volunteers for the member posts and didn't get any reply until IW posted about it on their website (BTW it's still ongoing and I'll post the first batch up soon). It really helps when your blog is new and you don't have much readers yet. So thanks IW!

So as a way to say thanks I decided to take part in their Cake Day celebrations. But why pudding? You see, I can't bake, and I'm broke due to ordering loads of AKB stuff, so I can't buy a cake (I could buy 2 singles with that money). So I asked around and I was told that I could choose not to use cakes. I pondered on what I should use instead and it just came to me. Pudding. Amina wotas should know this one.

Clickies for larger image. On AKBINGO! (100218) as punishment for getting hit in a dodge ball competition, Amina had to down a cup(?) of pudding in 1 mouthful. I wasn't an easy task and she struggled with it at the beginning, but she managed to do it after a bit of time. Well that is what happened officially. But I know in the minds of many other people, the pictures speak differently (PERVERTS!!!) But hey, it's a cute moment so I don't see a reason for not sharing. You can watch the video of it below.

OSHIAMINA and the pudding

Again, HAPPY CAKE DAY IW!!!

Team K 6th Stage [RESET] Review

On 12 march 2010, the NEW Team K (from now on reduced to just Team K, pre-shuffle Team K will be mentioned as OLD Team K) finally started their 6th Stage (actually it should be 1st Stage but whatever I'll just follow the official number). After months of delays due to their sudden popularity in RIVER and SakuShio, the reformed Team K is now official. There were a number of fans who dropped out because of the shuffle announcement. Well they are missing out on the fun cause Team K's new stage is awesome. It's not K4 level though, but damn good still. Another reason why we shouldn't even bother thinking of doubting Master Akimoto.

More after the jump.
