The first step of Akimoto Yasushi's plan for world dominance has started. Yesterday, Akimoto Yasushi traveled to Jakarta, Indonesia to personally oversee the final phrase of the auditions for the 1st generation members of JKT48.
At the end of the day, the members have been chosen. 28 girls have been selected from a total of around 1,200 applicants. With an average age of 15.8 years old, they plan to make their debut within this year.

JKT48 is the first OOO48 group outside of Japan. But more international groups are planned Akomoto Yasushi says, possibly in Taiwan and Singapore. TPE48 based in Taipei, Taiwan has already been announced earlier in the year, but there has been almost no word about it since. As for Singapore, AKB48 and it's sister groups make monthly performances at the AKB48 Singapore Theater.
