TBS's newest drama series [Saikou no Jinsei no Owarikata ~Ending Planner~] will include AKB48's Maeda Atsuko in the cast.
The direct translation of the drama title is "The Best Way to End Your Life ~Ending Planner~".
In the backstreets of Tokyo, a funeral service shop which deal with the dead bodies brought in by the police, including suicide victims and people who died from overwork and mental stress. This series is trying to get to the bottom of the dark side of living in such a severe society nowadays, a human drama which depicts the meaning of life and the bonds between people through the stories of the deceased.
Starring Yamashita Tomohisa, also widely know as Yamapi, as the protagonist, Acchan will be playing as his younger sister, and Sorimachi Takashi will play as the missing eldest son. The heroine of the series is Eikura Nana, acting as the female detective.
Asked how she feels about being able to act in this drama, Acchan replied that being able to act alongside ikemen such as Sorimachi Takashi and Tamashita Tomohisa makes her a very happy younger sister. This is also her first time acting in a family-themed drama series, to which she commented, "I'll work hard so that the audience will be able to feel the bonds among family and things that bring people together." She appeared very fired up to be able to venture into a new genre.
[Saikou no Jinsei no Owarikata ~Ending Planner~] will begin broadcasting every Thursday, 21:00PM starting from January 12th, 2012.
