Takajo Aki was pulled midway during French Kiss's handshake event yesterday as she was not feeling well. She was rushed to the hospital where she was diagnosed with Acute Gastroenteritis. She received an IV drip and is resting at home.

Depending on the severity, Acute Gastroenteritis can last from just a few days, to a month.
Seems like AKB members are falling sick left and right. Is it the flu season in Japan? We didn't blog about it but Yukirin and Sasshi recently were also taken out of AKB48's last handshake event due to illness. Get well soon Akicha!
