AKB48's Saitama Arena Concert Titled [Gyoumu Renraku]
The title of AKB48's Super Saitama Arena Concert later this March has been announced at yesterday's AKB48 handshake event to be [Gyoumu Renraku. Tanomu zo, Katayama-buchou!].
Gyoumu Renraku. Tanomu zo, Katayama-buchou!
業務連絡。頼むぞ、片山部長!
Date: 23 ~ 25 March 2012
Venue: Super Saitama Arena
Katayama-buchou (club leader) is a reference to Haachan being the club leader for the newly created AKB48 Art Club.
Gyoumu Renraku, or business communication/report, is what Yasusu (Akimoto Yasushi's other nickname) adds in his posts when he makes work-related posts on Google+.
So the full translation for the concert title is "Business Communication/Report. I'm counting on you, Katayama-buchou!"
What an honor it is for her. In the past there was only 1 concert that featured an individual member's name in the title, and that was the [Takamina ni Tsuite Ikimasu] in Yokohama Arena.
That concert was unfortunately canceled because of the 2011 March 11th Tohoku Earthquake.
With any AKB48 concert, we can expect some major announcements at the end of the concert. What surprises will there be this year? One thing that is most likely to be announced is the 2012 AKB48 Senbatsu Election (4th).
Haachan pushing? Way overdue! Good job girl for getting attention on Google+! I wonder if there be a throne for her during the concert? LOL.
But what is with that concert logo (top picture)? Is that supposed to be Yasusu? More importantly I see pink, green, blue, but where is Team 4's orange?
