Details on the AKB48 Group Pennant Race
The AKB48 Group teams will compete against each other in a new event, the AKB48 Group Pennant Race. Points will be awarded based on theater ticket applications, theater version handshake ticket sales and sousenkyo votes.

HKT48 3rd Generation Members Auditions


HKT48 have announced the auditions for their 3rd generation members. A video of the announcement was also uploaded onto their YouTube channel.

Candidates have to be aged a minimum of 11 years old and maximum 18 years old. No experience is required, but candidates must not belong to any agency as of 1st April 2013. Parental/guardian consent is not required after the age of 18, except for those studying.

Applications can be submitted through mail or web, on the audition website (linked above).

Submissions for applications have begun on 1st June 10:00JST, and will continue all the way until 19:00JST on 30th June 2013. The second round of auditions will start in mid-July and the final auditions will conclude on early August.
