Announced last night, SKE48's Shinkai Rina and Mori Sayuki have been demoted from Team S to SKE Kenkyuusei. The official reason is that the two girls want to concentrate on their studies more.
Well the good news is that they haven't been demoted for doing something wrong. The girls will be taking a short break from SKE to concentrate on their studies and will come back later, at least that's what I want to believe. But I can't help to think that this reason might not be true and it's a cover up for something they did or they might not have been performing up to standard. I hope this is not true. I wish both of them the best of luck in their studies and hope they can return back to Team S soon.
Update: Sad news. Shinkai Rina and Mori Sayuki have decided to graduate from the group to focus on their studies.

what saddens me (besides from sayuki being one of my faves) is that their unit song Wimbledon has now lost two of their original singers. =(
now only Kuumin remains...
LOL got me a little confused there, thought for a moment that Rinacchi is in Wimbledon LOL. I won't say that they lost two of their original singers since Sayu is still in SKE. IF what they told us is right, she will come back.
