YouTube has just announced that they will be streaming live AKB48's 32nd Single Senbatsu Election!
The livestream will be broadcast on AKB48's Official YouTube Channel, starting 17:15 JST on election day. FujiTV will also be streaming the election, however their broadcast will only start an hour after the election starts, at 18:30 JST (The election starts at 17:30 JST).

In addition to the YouTube livestream, AKB48 will also be broadcasting the 'Best Of's of the previous 4 elections on the 2 days before the election. The schedule is as follows:
6th June
21:00 ~ 21:40 JST: Best of 2009 Elections
22:00 ~ 23:00 JST: Best of 2010 Elections
7th June
21:00 ~ 22:00 JST: Best of 2011 Elections
22:00 ~ 23:00 JST: Best of 2012 Elections
The biggest announcement for me personally is that on the election day, AKB48 has set up a service where you can send messages to your favorite members via the internet. Text and photo messages can be sent to them through a special group on Google+, and video messages no less than 5 and no more than 15 seconds uploaded onto YouTube. The application for your messages has already started, and will continue until the election day on 8th June, 2013. Here are the instructions from AKB48.

On the day of AKB48 General Election, during the special program which will be live streamed on YouTube AKB48 Official Channel!, cheering messages will be picked up on the screen.

Please find a Google+ community dedicated to post cheering / congratulating messages, so called “AKB48 General Election Messages for Members”. Post a text message or photo attached message. In addition, please include a specific member’s name in your message.

Step1：Record 5-15 seconds message and upload the video on your own channel on YouTube. Please address a member clearly.
Step2：
When apply by posting on YouTube, please follow the title format. “Oshimen Message ○○○○○(member’s name)”
*Oshimen message means a message addressed to your favorite member.
